Journalism 200
In August 2019, I became a teacher's assistant for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's journalism 200 course: Introduction to Journalism. As a teacher's assistant, I copy-edit and grade student material, as well as explain the basics of journalistic writing during office hours.
We completely redesigned the Spring 2020 course to be held online, and I was placed on the video production team as a content producer. During my time, I taped and produced an array of videos that provided an introductory view of the world of journalism.
